Garbage Collection Changes
Starting in 2021, Real Disposal Services of Mansfield will be the Borough’s trash hauler. They took over from NTSWA beginning with the first trash collection in January, 2021
For residents of the Borough, this means that new garbage stickers will be required for residential pick up. Additionally, residential trash collection for the entire Borough will occur early Tuesday morning. Initially, commercial dumpster collection will be Tuesdays. The Borough and Real Disposal will carefully monitor dumpster collection and modify commercial schedules as the needs change.
The 2022 recycling calendar is now available and the service is provided on alternating Wednesdays. Please note that recycling collection starts at 6 a.m. Also, please review the guidelines on acceptable materials and sorting of materials: Mansfield Recycling Schedule and Service
Community clean up, Christmas tree collection, and electronics recycling will continue to be provided.
