PARKING TICKET PAYMENT & APPEAL INFORMATION
The following instructions are provided to explain the procedure you must follow to process payment or request an appeal of a parking ticket that has been issued by the Mansfield Borough Police Department:
Payment may be directly made to the Mansfield Borough between the business hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, excluding normal holidays.
Payment may be made by mail. Enclose a check or money order made payable to “Mansfield Borough” and send it to the address on the back of the parking ticket. If a receipt is required, please enclose a self-addressed, postage paid envelope.
The fine is $15.00 or $25.00 for Handicapped Parking violations, if paid within 72 hours of issuance.
Payments cannot be accepted after 20 days. At that time, a Non-Payment Traffic Citation is filed at District Court 04-3-03.
The total fine will be higher. Upon receiving the citation via certified mail, you may request a hearing to appeal the issuance of the ticket by complying with the instructions contained therein.
Failure to respond may result in a summary warrant of arrest being issued to the owner of the vehicle.
Upon issuance of a parking ticket, the procedures described above are the ONLY method of disposing of the ticket.
NO Police Officer or Borough Official can dismiss a parking ticket.
Persons making deliveries in a business district in an unlabeled vehicle will activate their hazard flashers and display a sign on the dashboard of the vehicle. No delivery vehicle shall obstruct any handicapped access area or traffic way and shall comply with the parking regulations of Mansfield Borough.
The parking laws of Mansfield Borough have been established by ordinance in accordance with the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code and enforcement of these laws have been requested by the property owners of the various business and commercial properties to ensure the safety of their patrons.
During non-business hours, Parking tickets can be paid at Mansfield Borough Police Department 24 hours a day by contacting the non emergency response number posted outside.
If a receipt is required, payment must be made Monday – Friday, 8am to 3:30pm (excluding normal holidays).
Payments for traffic & non-traffic citations can be made online using PAePay or are accepted by mail or in person at:
